Rear Extension and Internal Refurbishment. Garden Flat

Shepherds Bush

Paul is a dedicated, hands-on project manager with a good eye for detail and he has an effective team of professionals working for him. In difficult circumstances - taking over a half-finished, 'problem' project - I was able to explain what was needed.

I brought Pyramids Construction in on a rear extension build at my flat in Shepherd's Bush in the autumn of 2016.

Things had gone badly wrong. The builder I had been using was chaotic, messy, his work was poor quality and he wouldn't finish the project.

Pyramids turned things around. Paul is a dedicated, hands-on project manager with a good eye for detail and he has an effective team of professionals working for him. In difficult circumstances - taking over a half-finished, 'problem' project - I was able to explain what was needed. Paul was able to give good, practical advice and produced an agreed scope of works, at a fixed price with an agreed timescale. Pyramids Construction delivered on time and on budget. The quality of their work was consistently excellent and I recommend them. I just wish they'd been my builder from the start!

Refurbishment of 2 bedroom Victorian apartment

Putney

We hired Paul and his team to refurbish our 2 bedroom Victorian apartment at the beginning of 2016. The work consisted of taking down a chimney breast, removing a wall, new floors, new kitchen, new bathroom and redecorating throughout.

We hired Paul and his team to refurbish our 2 bedroom Victorian apartment at the beginning of 2016.

The work consisted of taking down a chimney breast, removing a wall, new floors, new kitchen, new bathroom and redecorating throughout. The project did take longer than we initially discussed with Paul, but this was due to structural issues in the house that needed correcting. This caused us to go over budget as well, but Paul was very open and honest about costs and consulted us on everything.

Paul is a nice guy and easy to get along with, so I would use Pyramids again.

Rear extension and complete Renovation of Victorian Cottage

Mortlake

We chose Pyramids to renovate our victorian cottage. From the start, Paul was in tune with the finish we wanted to achieve, and when the inevitable issues cropped up, he was upfront and clear about our options.

We chose Pyramids to renovate our Victorian cottage. From the start, Paul was in tune with the finish we wanted to achieve, and when the inevitable issues cropped up, he was upfront and clear about our options. Paul also managed the relationships with our neighbours very well. The crew worked tirelessly to complete our renovations in time for our baby's arrival, and we're very happy with the results!

Paul and his team were very helpful with suggestions and their work is good quality and I have no complaints.

Extra work came to light as it went along so it exceeded the original quote for price and time but I'm happy that was due to the nature of the building and not because of any problem with his original estimates and everything was explained in advance. I'm a solicitor with over 30 years experience with property so am confident he played fair with me.

I think the job was managed well. There always seemed to be steady progress and no gaps and the various stages were slotted in efficiently. Yes, I'd use them again.
